As with any year, there are always a few big names that seem like a sure bet for Glastonbury 2023. Some of these are based on recent album releases, others on tours that have been postponed from this year, and some on simple speculation. But as we all know, anything can happen in the world of music, so nothing is ever set in stone.
Here are some of the artists that have been rumored or confirmed for Glastonbury 2023:
Kanye West
Drake
Pearl Jam
Foo Fighters
The Stone Roses
The Cure
Mumford & Sons
Gorillaz
The Killers
Lauryn Hill
Tame Impala
LCD Soundsystem
Of course, this is just a small sampling of the potential Glastonbury 2023 lineup. As more information is released, we will be sure to update this article.
The Glastonbury lineup is normally not announced until the end of May, but several performers, including the headliners, are frequently disclosed early. Furthermore, some artists will self-confirm' their spot, while many others will be rumoured - and some of the most powerful rumours are invariably shown to be accurate.
Glastonbury Festival History
The Glastonbury Festival is a five-day music festival that takes place in Pilton, Somerset, England. Founded in 1970, the event is held annually at Worthy Farm and usually occurs between late June and early July. It is one of the largest and most prestigious music festivals in the world, attracting more than 175,000 attendees each year.
The festival was founded by dairy farmer Michael Eavis and originally took place on his farm. The first edition of the event featured performances from Marc Bolan, Tyrannosaurus Rex, and Keith Christmas, among others. Since then, the festival has expanded significantly in both size and scope, with world-renowned artists performing across a variety of genres.
Headliners
The headliners for Glastonbury 2023 have not been announced yet, but there are rumours that Paul McCartney, The Rolling Stones, and Foo Fighters are all being considered for the Pyramid Stage. All three artists have previously headlined the festival, with McCartney last performing in 2004, the Stones in 2013, and the Foo Fighters in 2015.
Other rumours
In addition to the headliners, there are also rumours that a number of other artists will be performing at Glastonbury 2023. These include Adele, Beyonce, Taylor Swift, Kendrick Lamar, Jay-Z, Muse, Radiohead, and The Stone Roses. As with the headliners, nothing has been confirmed yet and we'll have to wait until closer to the festival for more information.
We've listed every musician who has been officially confirmed, self-confirmed, or rumoured below, and we'll keep the list updated daily with new information.
The primary lineup poster was revealed at the beginning of March the previous year. The first headliner, Billie Eilish, was revealed by Glasto organizers at the beginning of October. Diana Ross was announced to play the Sunday night legends slot a few weeks later in early November, so we could be close to an official announcement.
Tickets for Glastonbury 2023 will go on sale on November 3rd and 6th, about a month later than normal. It's almost uncommon for modern-day Glasto to announce acts prior to ticket sales, so we doubt we'll get any confirmations before then - though it could happen.
The Glastonbury 2023 lineup has yet to be formally confirmed by Glasto organisers.
Artist Confirmation
Without any official announcement from Glastonbury organisers, we'll highlight bands and artists who reveal they'll be at Glastonbury 2023 through their shows, interviews, or on social media.
There are currently no confirmations at the moment but we anticipate there will be some confirmations very soon.

Performers that are not likely to be there
The below performers are unlikely to perform at Glastonbury 2023.
- Spice Girls
- Taylor Swif
Why we think these acts will not be performing
The Spice Girls are unlikely to be performing at Glastonbury 2023 for a number of reasons. First, the group has not performed together since 2012, and there is no indication that they will reunite any time soon. Second, Victoria Beckham, has said she has no interest in reforming the group. ]
As for Taylor Swift, she is currently in the middle of her Reputation Stadium Tour and will be busy promoting her new album, Lover. It's unlikely that she'll have time to fit in a Glastonbury performance.
Please note that this is all speculative and nothing has been confirmed by Glastonbury organisers.
