Olivia Wilde and Harry Styles break up after 2 years of dating
Yum Yum Mama can reveal that Harry Styles and Olivia Wilde have split after dating for over two years.
The "Watermelon Sugar" singer, 28, and the O.C. star, 38, are taking a break after being linked for the first time in January 2021, when they were spotted attending Styles' manager's wedding together. A source informed Yum Yum Mama exclusively at the time that Wilde and the former One Direction singer hit it off when she directed him in the thriller Don't Worry Darling.
"Harry and Olivia developed chemistry almost instantly on set," stated a source. "It was only a matter of time until they met."
Wilde was photographed in the audience at the "Two Ghosts" singer's Love On Tour concert with son Otis, 8, and daughter Daisy, 6, whom she shares with ex-fiancé Jason Sudeikis just a few days before the breakup. In a social media video, the Tron actress was seen dancing with her children while Styles performed his Grammy-nominated tune "As It Was."
Wilde was married to Ted Lasso, 47, from 2013 to 2020. The couple's split became public in April, when the actress was served with custody papers during her CinemaCon presentation of Don't Worry Darling, which she directed and co-starred in Harry Styles.
A former babysitter for Wilde and Sudeikis' children then claimed to the Daily Mall last month that the director not only strayed on her fiancé with the "Matilda" singer, but that the Saturday Night Live alum allegedly laid underneath her car to prevent her from visiting Styles.
According to the caregiver, Sudeikis was distraught when Wilde created her "special" salad dressing for the performer. In a rare joint statement released with Us, the former couple denounced the nanny's allegations.
"It's tremendously painful for us as parents to find that a former nanny of our two young children would chose to make up such false and scurrilous charges against us publicly," Wilde and Sudeikis told Us at the time. "This is the terrible culmination of an 18-month campaign of harassment against us, as well as our loved ones, close friends, and colleagues." We will keep focusing on raising and protecting our children in the hope that she will now choose to leave our family alone."

Throughout their relationship, the "Golden" artist and the Booksmart director remained relatively unknown. When Styles launched his Love on Tour in 2021, the Tron actress was seen cheering him on at several shows. Wilde hinted proudly from the audience as the Grammy winner prepped for his headline Coachella spot in April.
The Complete Relationship History of Harry Styles and Olivia Wilde
"Coachella prep," she captioned a video of the 1970s pair Baccara dancing to their 1977 song "Yes Sir, I Can Boogie" on her Instagram Story. Despite the fact that she did not mention Styles by name, fans were quick to piece together the clues.
For his part, the X Factor UK star has kept his love life private, but gushed about feeling more "comfortable" than ever during an interview on SiriusXM's "The Morning Mash Up" radio show. Styles said in an April interview that recording his single "As It Was" was "probably the most euphoric of anything that [he's] kind of experienced so far," and listeners discovered a probable reference to Wilde in the song's lyrics.
In the bridge, he sings, "Go home, move ahead, light-speed internet / I don't want to talk about the way it was." "Leave America, two kids follow her / I'm not going to argue about who did it first."
Styles had previously been linked to Taylor Swift, Kendall Jenner, and Camille Rowe, whereas Wilde was previously married to Tao Ruspoli from 2003 until 2011, before to her engagement to Sudeikis.
