Hi, I’m Sophie, an enthusiastic English and Creative Writing tutor with a love for helping students unlock their potential in reading, writing, and communication. With a degree in English Literature and over 5 years of tutoring experience, I’ve worked with learners from Key Stage 2 up to A-Level, guiding them towards stronger grades and a deeper appreciation of the subject.
My lessons are interactive, creative, and tailored to each student’s needs. I focus on building confidence in essay writing, comprehension, and literary analysis, while also developing key skills such as critical thinking and clear expression. I believe that learning should be engaging and enjoyable — something that sparks curiosity.
Outside of tutoring, I’m passionate about painting and hiking, and I often bring creative exercises into lessons to inspire fresh thinking. Whether your goal is to pass exams with flying colours or simply improve your skills, I’ll be there to support you every step of the way.
