Core Focus: Investigating how the 5 Welfare Needs look completely different from species to species.
Modules Covered: Dedicated case files for Cats, Birds, and Small Mammals, concluding with a Wrap-Up Module on how an Animal Advocate evaluates a household to match the right pet to the right lifestyle. (Fish and dogs are excluded here).
Lesson 3: Canine Clues (Dog Body Language & Safety)
Core Focus: The ultimate Pet Detective assignment — cracking the code of dog body language. Spotting the visual “clues” dogs give us when they are stressed, frightened, or happy and a plan for emergencies.
