Agentic State

The agentic state, as proposed by Milgram, is a concept that explains obedience. It occurs when an individual follows the commands of an authority figure, effectively acting as their agent. The transition from independent decision-making to functioning in an 'agency' capacity is termed the 'agentic shift.'
